Three days after steering Real Madrid to their tenth European Cup triumph Carlo Ancelotti was named best Italian coach of the year.
The 54-year-old received the individual accolade at the Enzo Bearzot National Award ceremony.
Ancelotti took over the helm in 2013 replacing José Mourinho.
Although Real finished third in La Liga this term – they beat Barcelona to lift the King’s Cup trophy and city rivals Atletico for the Champions League title.
