Sevilla have returned home to a heroes’ welcome following their thrilling penalty shootout win over Benfica in the Europa League final in Turin.
Unai Emery’s men, who won the competition for the third time in nine seasons, ensured Spain will sweep the season-ending European club competitions, with Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid locking horns in the Champions League final on May 24.
It was Benfica’s eighth consecutive defeat in a European final and second time in two years after last season’s defeat by Chelsea.
