Sport Integrity director Chris Eaton announced on Thursday that betting fraud should be the main target for those fighting for cleaner sport.
The Qatar-based ICCS estimated wagers worth between €200bn and €500bn were made each year around the world with more than 80 per cent made illegally.
According to reports, anti-corruption forces are currently investigating evidence of widespread fixing in the world of cricket including domestic English matches.
While football is still a main concern, the ICSS added that tennis, basketball and motor racing are also thought to be under severe threat from criminal activity.
