Saturday’s Eurovision Song Contest final is promising the usual mix of glitz and kitsch, with some controversy thrown in too.
Bearded drag queen Conchita Wurst is Austria’s entry. The alter ego of Tom Neuwirth is not only a headline grabber, but also a front runner.
“Basim” will be taking to the stage for reigning winners Denmark. The final is being staged on home turf, at an old shipyard near the centre of Copenhagen.
France is hoping to wow voters with a song about moustaches.
As well as Austria, Sweden, the UK, Armenia and the Netherlands are also the bookies’ favourites to win.
There is no doubt that millions will be tuning in, to see who walks away with this year’s coveted Eurovision title.
