A day after Paris Saint Germain won their second consecutive Ligue One title coach Laurent Blanc put pen to paper on a new contract keeping at the capital club until 2016.
Blanc, whose previous contract was until 2015, arrived at the club in 2013 replacing Italian Carlo Ancelotti.
In his first term in charge he led his men to a domestic double – winning the league and league Cup.
After an illustrious playing career that included stints with Barcelona, Inter and Manchester United, the 49-year-old began life as a manager at Bordeaux before taking over the reins of the France national team and then PSG.
As well as a domestic double Blanc also guided PSG to the quarter-finals of the Champions League where they were defeated by Chelsea.
