Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley Jr. have come face to face ahead of their WBO welterweight title bout in Las Vegas on Saturday.
Bradley is defending his WBO belt he won from the Filipino legend in a controversial fight in 2012. Most ringside observers felt Pacquiao won comfortably but after 12 rounds the American was awarded a split decision victory.
‘This fight is very important to me and to my boxing career. My opponent is also claiming that it’s also very important so it’s going to be a very, very good fight,” said Pacquiao at the news conference in Las vegas.
Bradley, who is in unbeaten in 32 professional fights, has questioned Manny Pacquiao’s motivation in the ring. He asked whether “he lacks fire” going in to the bout this weekend. He also said his experience following his title win in 2012 had been negative with fans aiming their anger at him following the split decision victory.
