Roadside bomb kills 13 in Afghanistan


At least 13 people have been killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.

Two SUVs were diverted from a main road due to a Taliban attack in the south, when the hidden explosives went off. The Islamist group denies responsibility.

It comes just two days after the elections which passed off peacefully despite threats from the Taliban.
