Bayern clinch 24th German title

German giants Bayern Munich have secured the Bundesliga title in record time by beating Hertha Berlin 3-1 on Tuesday.

Winger Toni Kroos opened the scoring for the visitors with a well taken half-volley in the 6th minute before Mario Gotze doubled their advantage 8 minutes later after some great work from Austrian left-back David Alaba.

Jos Luhukay’s men pulled one back through Adrian Ramos but eventually surrendered as Franck Ribery made sure of the win with a clinical finish.

This result sees the Bavarians clinch their 24th German title with seven matches left, giving Pep Guardiola’s men a major boost ahead of their Champions League quarter-final clash against Manchester United on April 1.
