In the West Bank, at least four Palestinians have been shot dead during a raid by Israeli security forces at a home in the Jenin refugee camp.
A fugitive Hamas fighter was among those killed, Israeli military said.
Earlier funerals for some of the dead were held in Jenin, a flash point for violence in the past.
Two Israeli soldiers and dozens of Palestinians were also wounded in the incident, one of the most serious in the West Bank for months.
The deadly clashes occurred after hundreds of angry residents reportedly descended on the scene of the raid throwing firebombs and stones at Israeli forces.
The Palestinian Authority condemned the violence, which also erupted outside a local hospital treating victims from the earlier incident.
The deaths come amid growing tensions over faltering peace talks ahead of a looming April deadline set by US Secretary of State John Kerry.
