Former Porto, Chelsea and Spurs boss, Andre Villas-Boas, has agreed to coach Zenit St Petersburg, according to the Russian club.
The 36-year-old has agreed terms on a two-year contract.
Villas-Boas, who was sacked by Tottenham in December, is to replace Luciano Spalletti.
The Italian was fired after Zenit lost their last 16 Champions League first leg against Borussia Dortmund and slipped to second in the league.
Villas-Boas will reunite with Brazilian striker Hulk with whom he worked at Porto, he will also hook up with Portuguese compatriots Luis Neto and Danny.
The Portuguese is expected to begin his tenure on Thursday, the day after Zenit play their last 16 Champions League second leg against Dortmund.
