A strong earthquake has struck off northern Chile triggering a brief evacuation.
The magnitude 6.7 quake was centred 60km off the coast near Iquique. No injuries were reported.
Around 100,000 people were evacuated with most of them heading on foot to nearby hills.
There was no Tsunami warning.
