Ukraine crisis: tensions persist in Crimea
In the early hours of Thursday, Russian naval personnel scuttled a decommissioned ship, creating an obstacle for Ukrainian naval vessels, which are now trapped inside Ukraine’s Southern Naval Headquarters in Myrnyi, Western Crimea.
Meanwhile, at the Ukraine-Russia border crossing near Kharkiv, in eastern Ukraine, travellers had to undergo increased security checks.
