Michael Schumacher’s management team continue to stress that updates on his condition not confirmed by his doctors are invalid.
Reports out of Italy suggest that Schumacher is reacting to voices around him.
However doctors say they are still working to bring him out of a coma.
The 45-year-old seven-time F-1 champion suffered a severe head injury in a skiing accident in the French Alps on 29 December.
As the Williams team showed off its 2014 car this week, Williams driver Felipe Massa said he, and team mates, would be remembering Michael Schumacher this season.
Schumacher’s situation has special meaning for Massa, who himself suffered a fractured skull during the Hungarian Grand Prix in 2009.
“I am thinking about him every day. So I will keep thinking about him every day. Always praying for him every day, so he is a big brother, you know,” said Massa, adding that his helmet design would include a reference to Schumacher.
“Definitely I will have him on my helmet you know, together with me all the time.”
