Austria returned to the winners circle in the ski jumping arena on Saturday after flying to victory in the men’s World Cup large hill team event in Lahti Finland.
The Olympic silver medallists of Gregor Schlierenzauer, Thomas Diethart, Stefan Kraft and Michael Hayboeck took top honours with 973,5 points.
Olympic champions Germany were second.
The quartet of Marinus Kraus, Andreas Wellinger, Andreas Wank and Severin Freund were fifth after the first round but made a spirited comeback in the final leg to claim the runners up spot with a points tally of 960.8.
Rounding off the team podium in third were Norway.
Rune Velta, Anders Fannemel, Andreas Stjernen and Anders Bardal garnered 960,3 points.
Slovenia were fourth while Finland came fifth.
