Independence Square in Kyiv was quiet on Tuesday morning (February 25), a day after the ousted president, Viktor Yanukovich, was indicted for mass murder.
At least 70 people were killed in one day last week when police forces shot at demonstrators. In total, more than 80 died over the last few weeks.
Flowers lay all over the square, referred to as Maidan, in memory of the dead.
