Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff has officially unveiled the World Cup stadium in the southern city of Porto Alegre on Thursday.

Originally built in 1969, the Beira-Rio stadium, which will host five World Cup matches, underwent major renovations in recent years, with the bill estimated to amount to just over 100 million euros.

France and Honduras will be the first teams to face off here with the group E clash due to take place on June 15.
