After Copenhagen Zoo put down an animal of that name, now Jyllands Park zoo in Western Denmark is considering the same fate for its Marius.
The seven-year-old animal is genetically too similar to others in captivity, so the zoo, which plans to acquire a female, wants to avoid inbreeding.
