It was the week when Microsoft finally named Satya Nadella as chief executive officer to replace Steve Ballmer.
In his first official email to company employees Nadella wrote: “While we have seen great success, we are hungry to do more. Our industry does not respect tradition – it only respects innovation.”
Facebook and Twitter certainly know that.
The number one social network has just turned 10 and it definitely has every reason to be proud of its first decade’s results.
However, when Twitter revealed its first earnings as a public company many investors were disappointed and headed for the exits.
