Russia: fuel train derails, catches fire near Kirov

A freight train carrying fuel tanks has derailed near Kirov, 900 miles east of Moscow. Around a dozen of the tanks ignited, sending huge flames and a cloud of smoke into the air.

400 people have been evacuated from the area because of the fire.

More than 250 firefighters have been sent to put out the blaze.
