Real Madrid have unveiled plans for the new Santiago Bernabeu ahead of a 400 million euro redevelopment of the famous stadium.
Los Merengues hope the redesign, which will see the stadium receive a retractable roof and a new commercial centre encompassing shops, restaurants and a hotel, can begin after the end of this season and be completed by 2017.
The renovation will be led by the German architects GMP, the same firm that designed the Arena Amazonia World Cup stadium in Manaus, Brazil.
