The parliament in Ukraine has approved an amnesty for anti-government protesters. But the law comes with conditions and the opposition parties abstained from voting.
Two hundred and thirty two deputies out of 416 voted the bill through which states all buildings must be cleared of anti-government protesters, and barricades in Kyiv and throughout the country have to be dismantled.
Its understood a time limit of fifteen days has been set for the conditions to be met.
The measure, intended to ease unrest on the streets, was adopted after a day of intense debate.
