Canada retirement home blaze thought to have killed 32

Thirty-two people are now thought to have died in a fire at a wooden retirement home in the
Canadian province of Quebec on Thursday.

Ten bodies have been recovered and 22 people are still missing.

Asked about reports that a cigarette started the blaze in L’Isle-Verte, northeast of Quebec City, police said the cause is still being investigated.
