Fighting and In-fighting continues in Syria

In Syria the fighting continues.Unverified images – released on the internet and said to have been shot in Aleppo and Damascus – seem to show rebel factions fighting each other.

The Al Quaeda linked group Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant has been in clashes with other insurgent groups over disputes about authority and territory.

One tank was filmed apparently shelling a government stronghold.

It is thought however that around 1,400 people have died in this in-fighting over the past three weeks, with civilians also killed and injured in the cross-fire.
