A cafe with a laid-back attitude has opened in London. It’s run on a ‘Pay as you go’ basis where instead of buying things to eat or drink, customers pay for how long they stay.
Visitors are given a clock as they enter and are encouraged to give donations based on the time they spend inside.
A few cents per minute is the suggested rate.
It is a Russian idea which has already spawned eight cafes there and one in Ukraine. The London branch is the first in Western Europe.
