Michael Williams is looking to take part in the 2014 Winter Olympics for Jamaica and will know by the end of the week if he has done enough to qualify.
The task facing the relatively unexperienced skier is a tough one as he needs to bring his points average down to 140 before February to secure his spot for the Games.
Williams’ best finish this season is 57th out of 117 finishers at an event in Japan earlier this month.
The 43-year-old, who was born and raised in Canada, is competing in Austria this week, where he could get the points he needs to achieve his dream.
