Nigeria car bomb kills 30

In Nigeria at least 29 people have been killed when a car bomb exploded at a market in the northeastern city of Maiduguri on Tuesday.

Islamist group Boko Haram have claimed responsibility for the attack.

It is the latest in a string of attacks carried out by the group since a state of emergency was declared last May in Borno and the neighbouring states of Adamawa and Yobe.
