In Russia, security forces have been put on high alert after the discovery of five dead bodies in the south of the country.
All the victims were shot dead and found in four cars outside the city of Stavropol, some 300 kilometres east of Sochi, the venue for next month’s Winter Olympics.
Authorities said an improvised explosive device went off near one of the vehicles – but said no one was hurt.
Russia has already increased security before next month’s games following last month’s twin attack in Volgograd, which saw suicide bombers kill 34 people.
