Security officials have pounced on an opposition politician in Madeira, after he took the seat of the regional government’s president at a budget meeting.
It came after government members reportedly refused to listen to comments being made by Helder Spinola, deputy of the PND (New Democracy Party).
Spinola was led away after taking the seat.
The last day of discussions was being held in Funchal over the 2014 regional budget.
