Spain’s Alex Pastor produced a stunning performance to secure his maiden world kiteboarding title in Mendoza, Argentina.
The 24-year-old continued his great run of form this season by finishing second on the day behind young Brazilian sensation Carlos Mario, enough to consolidate top spot in the overall standings.
New Zealand’s Marc Jacobs eventually had to settle for second place, 610 points behind the winner with Belgium’s Christophe Tack completing the podium, 280 points further back.
