No stranger to a red carpet, Sharon Stone was the guest of honour at the grand opening of the Marrakech Film Festival.
At 55, she received a career tribute from Martin Scorsese who directed her in ‘Casino’ for which she won a Golden Globe in 1995.
Academy Award winner Scorsese was also there to preside over the international jury which includes French actress Marion Cotillard and Turkish-German director Fatih Akin.
Over 110 films will be screened during the festival, including a Bollywood reworking of Romeo and Juliet
