“There is a way forward”. Iranian foreign minister Javad Zarif has released a web video on a new YouTube channel speaking of a “way forward” for relations between Iran and the rest of the world, and calling for an end to “an unnecessary crisis”. The video is Zarif’s first ever YouTube message and was posted on the eve of the next round of talks between Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council (Russia, China, France, Britain and US) plus Germany in Geneva.
The new Iranian foreign minister previously surprised the web when he became the first Iranian diplomatic chief to create a twitter account, where he has posted this video-message.
The “there is a way forward” message from Tehran contrasts with the “real face of Iran” campaign, launched by Israeli prime-minister Benjamin Nethanyahu, that is opposed to a deal with Iran.
