The manhunt for the lone Parisian gunman who shot up a bank and newspaper offices yesterday, seriously injuring a photographer, continues.
There was a report early Tuesday afternoon claiming he had been arrested, but the police have denied this. The man and his motives have yet to be identified, but DNA samples have been retrieved from a car in which he took a hostage on Monday.
Police say the public should stay away from the man, who changes clothes frequently but whose disguises were unable to fool security cameras around the French capital. Police are studying video footage of yesterday’s incidents for further clues.
