Sweden’s Henrik Stenson produced a stunning performance to win the season-ending World Tour Championship on Sunday, becoming the first man to win the Race to Dubai and FedEx Cup in the same year.
The 37-year-old carded a superb closing round of 64 to finish with a tournament-record total of 25 under par, en route to a convincing six shot victory at Jumeirah Golf Estates.
England’s Ian Poulter ended the day on 66 and eventually had to settle for second place with France’s Victor Dubuisson completing the podium, two shots further back.
