Heinz meanz job cuts


Heinz has announced the closure of two plants in the United States and one in Canada.

The company says 1,350 workers will lose their jobs.

Heinz, famed for its baked beans and ketchup, has been cutting jobs since Berkshire and 3G took over in June and installed new managers.

Hamburger chain McDonald’s announced last month that it was ending its 40-year relationship with Heinz because they had named former Burger King CEO Bernardo Hees as their president.
