Straight after slipping out of his leathers, newly crowned MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez slipped into a suit and stepped on stage at the FIM awards in Valencia.
Marquez, the first rookie to win the world championship in his first season since Kenny Roberts in 1978 and the youngest ever MotoGP world champion, was star of the show at the end of season bash.
Also honoured for his exploits was MotoGP2 champion Pol Espargaro, who crashed earlier in the day, but thankfully was fit for the party.
MotoGP3 champion Maverick Vinales went into his final race as one of three potential champions, Vinales took the lead on the final lap and held on for victory.
All three MotoGP champions hail from Spain.
