They travelled from Seoul to Pyongyang on Sunday to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the opening of Jangchung Cathedral.
The twelve Catholics from the group “Corea Peace3000” attended the service alongside some North Koreans who worship at the cathedral.
Human rights groups say North Korea does not allow freedom of religion, and that its churches are under state control.
