A newly-restored statue of Saint Damian has been put back in place on Prague’s famous Charles Bridge.
It is part of a work in progress to clean or replace all 30 statues on the bridge.
The statue of Saint Damian, a patron saint of medicine, was created in 1709 and donated by the Medicine Faculty of Prague University.
Every year millions of people visit the Bridge, which is known worldwide for its beauty.
