Borussia Dortmuind coach Jurgen Klopp announced on Wednesday he will not appeal his two match Champions League ban handed down by UEFA.
Klopp – who steered his side to the final last season – was shown a red card in his club’s opening group match defeat against Napoli last month when he angrily confronted the fourth official for not letting one of his players quickly back on the pitch after an injury break
The 46-year-old has already missed one Group F match – Dortmund’s 3-0 thrashing of Marseille – and will complete his ban when his side travel to north London to face Arsenal on October 22.
