Hundreds of Urdu speaking people in Bangladesh have held protests in Dhaka calling for better living conditions and equal rights with other Bangladeshis.
Having lived in separate camps since the country won independence from Pakistan 43 years ago, Urdu speakers want to be rehoused and free schooling for their children.
The camps’ residents were granted full Bangladeshi citizenship by the High Court in 2008 but still claim to suffer discrimination within the country.
