Westgate, Nairobi deaths at terrorist hands, and lucky escapes

Westgate shopping centre in Nairobi, Kenya, was a killing ground for four days, as the army battled Islamist militant terrorists who call themselves Al Shabaab. Ordinary people, civilians, are trapped. A report from Portuguese RTP television.

The authorities brought in 72 bodies; families buried their loved ones on Thursday. It’s feared many more funerals are to come. Russian RTR television reported on one of the lucky escapes.

International forensics teams gathered to analyse clues left at the site by the terrorists. Interpol issued an arrest warrant for a British suspect. France 2 reported.
