At least 44 people have been killed and dozens hurt in a collision between two buses in Iran.
Investigators say a flat tyre caused one of the buses to swerve into the opposite lane. The accident occured late on Monday night on a road between the capital Tehran and Qom.
Authorities have described it as the worst road accident in recent years.
Iran has one of the world’s worst road safety records. It is believed more than 20,000 people lose their lives in accidents every year.
