At least 15 people were killed in Somalia on Saturday after a car bomb went off outside a restaurant. A suicide bomber blew himself up in the restaurant immediately after the explosion.
Witnesses at the scene described a tangle of mangled furniture and pieces of human flesh.
The attack on the popular Village Restaurant in the capital Mogadishu is the third since last September.
Somalia’s newly elected government is struggling to rebuild itself after years of civil war.
No one has claimed responsibility but suspicion may fall on the Islamic militant group al Shabaab, who only ended their suicide bombing campaign in 2011 under military pressure.
