The immigration issue: welcome to Germany?

For decades, Germany has been a de facto country of immigrants, but it has difficulties accepting this. Some parts of the nation are well integrated, whilst parallel societies exist elsewhere. But with the need for qualified manpower just as strong as ever, could multiculturalism still work?
