Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has been released from Tora prison in Cairo, after appealing his continuing detention.
The 85 year old was flown in a helicopter to a military hospital.
He still faces charges of corruption and complicity in the killing of demonstrators during the protests that toppled him in 2011.
It’s expected he will now be put under house arrest and is banned from traveling outside Egypt.
