Pakistan’s former military dictator Pervez Musharraf has been indicted for the murder of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
Musharraf, once the most powerful man in Pakistan after seizing power in a coup in 1999, denied all charges.
Bhutto was killed in a gun and suicide bomb attack following an election rally in December 2007 in Rawalpindi.
At the time of her death the government sought to blame Taliban militants for her murder.
Musharraf said he had warned Bhutto at the time that her life was in grave danger.
The next hearing is set for August 27.
