The Bavarians will first entertain Borussia Mönchengladbach while title rivals Dortmund travel to FC Augsburg on Saturday.
After long-standing rumours claiming Polish international Robert Lewandowski would follow in the footsteps of Mario Gotze and join Bayern, Jurgen Klopp eventually blocked the move which would have brought in millions of Euros, showing the club’s ambitions.
The 24 year old, who insists he will give his all for the club on the pitch next season, enjoyed a sensational season, scoring 24 league goals and adding another 10 in the Champions League.
