Barcelona confident over Fabregas

Spanish giants Barcelona arrived in Bangkok on Monday for the Thai leg of their pre-season tour of the Far East.

Led by new coach Gerardo Martino, Xavi’s team-mates received a warm welcome from a small group of dedicated fans following their two day Peace Tour of the Middle East.

The Catalans took the opportunity to clarify Cesc Fabregas’ future at the club in the wake of reports that Manchester United are considering a third bid for the midfielder.

Gerard Pique and Andres Iniesta both declared that their team-mate is not about to join David Moyes and are convinced he will stay at Barcelona.

The Blaugranas have made just one signing this summer, bringing Neymar to the Nou Camp from Santos for 57million euros.
