Brazil forward Neymar said he was living a dream after moving to Barcelona this summer.
The 21-year old made his competitive debut for his new club on Tuesday night as a late substitute in a 2-2 friendly draw at Polish side Lechia Gdansk .
Neymar completed the high-profile move from Santos at the end of May and at the Spanish champions joined up with his idol Lionel Messi.
He said: “When I am training it feels like being in a dream. A dream I had when I was a kid and that is coming true now. I turn my head around and there is Messi, or Xavi, Iniesta or Puyol. I feel complete, it is like a dream. I can’t be sad. I am really, really happy.”
Neymar is expected to make his first appearance at the Camp Nou on Friday evening when the Catalan giants play his former club Santos.
Barca start their La Liga title defense in just under three weeks with a home game against Levante.
