Walking into the record books

A Chinese tightrope walker shuffled his way into the Guinness Book of World Records this week after completing an 18 metre high-wire walk between two hot air balloons in 38.35 seconds.

The Chinese daredevil made his way across the suspended steel beam – 50 mm in diametre – high above the Naigu Stone Forest Scenic Spot, in the south west of China.

It is the fifth time the 40-year-old man has entered the record books.
