At least 39 people have been killed and 100 injured after two bombs exploded at a busy market in Pakistan.
Two suicide bombers riding motorcycles blew themselves up within minutes of each other in Parachinar in the north of the country, according to reports. Explosives experts were still on site to examine the debris.
The area was crowded with evening shoppers buying food for the breaking of the Ramadan fast.
The area is predominantly Shia, who have often been targeted in Sunni militant attacks.
The military had been shelling suspected militant camps in the region for the last five days.
